The power of photography is infinite. It has the authority to give form to perceptions that did not exist before, make tangible an idea that would otherwise never be seen.
Why photography?
Photography is the only known medium of expression that allows truth and reality to be captured at any one time! No other medium can do that. Not sculpture, not painting, not even film-making. It allows you to capture a slice of reality and by the conscientious choice of edit, by choosing to include or exclude in a given frame, photography has the power to depict within a frame a truth or a lie! Such is the power of this medium. Few understand this medium and fewer still understand its power. Broad is the way that leads to the destruction and many have fallen into the cheapened undiscipline of mindless "clicking" in the age of the digital.
